Laboratories & Facilities

The Center hosts six Core laboratories and three Central laboratories

Core Laboratories

Central Laboratories (MNCF)

The central labs hosts the shared fabrication and characterization laboratories. They encompasses state of the art equipment for realization and general characterization of nano-structures and are headed by the center researchers:
  • Atomic Force and Raman Microscopy Laboratory, Dr. Artium Khatchtouriants
  • Electron and Ion Microscopy and Lithography Laboratory, Dr. Yigal Lilach
  • Micro and nano Fabrication Laboratory, Dr. Nava Ariel-Sternberg

The Central labratories cover the following functions:

  • Lithography - optical, holographic, electron beam writing
  • Semiconductor nano-structures growth and deposition
  • Thin film dielectrics and metal deposition
  • Dry and wet chemical etching
  • Electron microscopy - high resolution and environmental scanning electron microscopes
  • Atomic force and scanning tunneling microscopy
  • Molecular biology fabrication laboratory
