Expert in Scanning Electron Microscopes and Focus Ion Beam Microscopes

Tel Aviv University Nanotechnology Center is actively searching for an exceptional individual to join our team as an Expert in Electron and Ion Beam Microscopes. As part of our new center, you will play a pivotal role in advancing nanotechnology research and exploration.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain high-resolution scanning electron microscope and dual -beam focus ion beam microscope,, with precision and expertise.
   
• Provide technical guidance and support to researchers, faculty, and students utilizing the microscopy facilities.
   
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on research projects involving nanoscale imaging, characterization, and fabrication.
   
• Collaborate with Industry and provide professional imaging and analysis services
   
• Develop and implement innovative methodologies and techniques to enhance microscope performance and capabilities.
   
• Stay updated with emerging trends and advancements in SEM and FIB technologies, suggesting equipment upgrades or improvements as necessary.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Advanced degree in a relevant field such as materials science, physics, or electrical engineering.
   
• Extensive experience in operating HRSEM) and FIB is essential.
   
• Strong expertise in sample preparation techniques, imaging, analysis, and data interpretation.
   
• Proficiency in related software tools and UI
   
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
   
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams, provide technical guidance and provide industrial services
