Nano Center Facility & Cleanroom Access Procedure

External Companies - Work Models & Access Paths

TAU.nano provides advanced fabrication, characterization, and research services to industry partners, startups, external academic groups, and other external users.

A specific process or service is performed by an authorized Nano Center staff member (e.g., fabrication steps, measurements, or characterization services).

• The company contacts the relevant engineer directly in order to receive the appropriate quotation and/or purchase order (PO) information.
• No independent access to facilities or equipment is provided.
• All work is carried out exclusively by authorized Nano Center staff.
   

A full project is planned and executed entirely by Nano Center staff.

• Send an email to Valery and Ortal T. including:
  • Company details
  • Project description
  • Requested scope of work
     
• A meeting will be scheduled to:
  • Review project requirements
  • Define scope and timeline
  • Determine technical feasibility and resource allocation

Companies may request independent facility and equipment access for their employees.

Initial Request

The company should send an email to Ortal T. including:

• Company background
• Description of the planned work
• Requested equipment/tool access

A meeting may be scheduled if additional review is required.

Approval & Training Requirements

Upon approval, company employees must complete all relevant onboarding and safety requirements, including:

General Requirements

• Building Safety Training
• User account setup
• STid application setup
• Building access authorization

Cleanroom Access Requirements (if applicable)

• Cleanroom Safety Training
• Safety acknowledgment Google Form
• Machine-specific training and certification for each approved tool

Access will only be granted after all required training and approvals are completed.
